Mr. Hartnett oversees all electrical projects for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings in the New York City metropolitan area. His expertise includes the design of new radial electrical distribution systems. He also designs main service switchboards, distribution panels, meter banks, and public light and power distribution panels for multifamily buildings. He creates new and upgraded lighting systems, electrical distribution and lighting layouts, and emergency generator and emergency distribution systems.

Mr. Hartnett is also responsible for the coordination between the architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical departments. He joined the firm in 1994 and was made a partner in 2013.



Projects

Multi-family residential buildings and complexes Mr. Hartnett designed electrical distribution systems include Luna Park Houses in Brooklyn, New York; Eastchester Houses, Bronx, New York; Castle Hill Houses, Bronx, New York; Harlem River Houses, New York, New York; and Ravenswood Houses, Queens, New York.

He designed main electric service upgrades for 115 Central Park West, New York, New York; 1161 York Avenue, New York, New York; 450 East 63rd Street, New York, New York; 32 East 64th Street, New York, New York; and 998 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York.

Mr. Hartnett created lighting design for such projects as 3333 Riverside Drive, New York, New York; Morningside Heights Housing Garage, New York, New York; Cromwell Towers, Yonkers, New York; Monroe Post Office, Monroe, New York; and Larchmont Post Office, Larchmont, New York.

New construction projects Mr. Hartnett has been involved with include 97 Bruce Avenue Apartment Building, Yonkers, New York; Grace House Senior Citizens Home, Mt. Vernon, New York; ASI Warehouse, Yonkers, New York; Barr Laboratories Warehouse, Pomona New York; and Union Baptist Church, New Rochelle, New York.

His emergency generator projects include Harrison Fire Department, Harrison, New York; Grace House Senior Citizens Home, Mt. Vernon New York; ASI Warehouse, Yonkers, New York; 475 Park Avenue, New York, New York; and 944 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York



Education, Registrations and Organizations



Holder of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Manhattan College, Mr. Hartnett is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Connecticut and New York and a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.
